Before opening the Law Office of Chad Stavley, Chad worked as a Multnomah County Deputy District Attorney and then as an insurance defense lawyer for a large Portland firm. As a criminal prosecutor, Chad tried numerous jury trials, becoming familiar with judges and juries and learning how to work effectively in the courtroom. As an insurance defense lawyer, Chad learned how insurance companies value claims and how they defend personal injury cases. In 2008 Chad opened the Law Office of Chad Stavley and put his knowledge and trial experience to work representing people against large corporations and insurance companies. He is passionate about righting wrongs.
Chad graduated from the University of Miami School of Law with Honors. He won merit scholarships in his third year of law school based on excellence in Miami’s mock trial program.
When not at work, Chad enjoys spending time with his wife Annalisa, son George and daughter Lincoln.
We are a completely results-driven law firm. We aren’t interested in taking on hundreds of clients and working in a settlement factory.
We reject more than 95% of all those who seek our help. We take fewer clients so that we can focus completely on the cases we do take. We prepare every case like it’s a trial and then negotiate from a position of strength. If we don’t get a fair offer, we are prepared and willing to go into the courtroom, where our verdicts have outperformed last/best offers by more than three to one.
